Last weekend I was flicking through TV channels (as you do) and happened to stumble across the beginning of Three Days of the Condor, a 1975 spy thriller starring Robert Redford and Max von Sydow. After watching it for five minutes I was absolutely hooked. It’s like a proto Bourne Identity, only with bags more style.

Despite it being 35 years old, most of the clothes that Redford and von Sydow wear wouldn’t be out of place today. Robert Redford wears a chambray shirt, herringbone blazer, wool tie, navy crew-neck sweater and jeans throughout most of the film:

Max von Sydow wears classic overcoats, a trilby hat and glasses with chunky frames:
