A reader asks:

“Is it okay to tuck my jeans into my boots?”

Well, it isn’t illegal (yet), but before you start tucking your jeans into your boots you should ask yourself the following questions:

  • Do I plan on walking through mud, deep puddles or snow?
  • Do I ride a Triumph motorcycle?
  • Am I a lumberjack?
  • Am I worried that a snake might crawl up my jeans legs?

If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions, tuck away; otherwise, don’t bother.
