It’s hard to go wrong with a navy suit, especially in formal situations. If you feel the need to brighten things up a bit, try using one or two brightly-coloured – but little seen – accessories, like silk knots and striped socks:

Not really, actually I didn’t particularly notice until you mentioned it! It happened to be a very good price, one that I couldn’t refuse.
