It’s all too easy to get carried away during the summer sales. It’s all too easy to venture to the shops with the intention of buying a few, specific things, but come back with a load of stuff that you neither wanted nor needed.
Know what you want and stick to your guns. If the item you really want is never on sale, then save up and buy it at full price. And try to resist the temptation to blow what you’ve saved on “50% OFF!” items that momentarily take your fancy. You’ll regret it in the long run.
