A lot of style columnists this season seem to be jizzing themselves over Olebar Brown’s £100+ beach shorts (seriously. £100!). To be honest if they were that much I’d be scared of leaving them in the hotel room at the end of my holiday. Much better to have something, well, beach like… something that you don’t mind getting a bit sun-bleached and sea worn. A bit like these Jack Russell Italian swim shorts, really. Pair them with a navy polo shirt and you’re ready for a few gin and tonics at the beachside bar.
